Mitologia

Oicle discendeva dal mweqveggente mwegMelampo ed aveva sposato Ipermnestra (discendente della omonima danaide che aveva sposato mwewLinceo) e da questa unione aveva avuto il veggente mwfaAnfiarao (che fu re di mwfqArgo e protetto da mwfgApollo) e altre due figlie Ifianira e Polibeacite-ref-1[1].

Con mwhgPeleo e mwhwTelamone accompagna mwiaEracle in una spedizione contro mwiqTroiacite-ref-2[2].
